Snow Day

It snowed! Well ice fell and it looks like snow. Our first "snow" in our new house.

Snow momma with her little snow bunnies. Took us forever to layer up because most of our snow gear was in a snow storage box.

Our snow poofs. I think they're wearing 3 layers of pants but they're still so cute here!

Titus was not amused. He was not a fan of this weather. It was too cold.

Papa loves his little snowman.

They went ice skating in the street.

A neighbor came by and took a family pic of us. We were grateful!

We tried to recreate last year's snow angel...this baby was NOT having it.

Here's a dad snow angel. Ha! (more like an ice angel that he tried to chisel out of the ice/snow)

I love my babies. We had such a fun snow day today.

Titus was ready to go in though and our TTU gnomie was frozen and buried in the snow. I love how he made it into so many pics though.

Sweet Tabor couldn't keep his eyes off the snow. He loved it.

Titus was happy once he sat inside and watched us from there. I think he even tried to shut us out so he could get warmer. ha

Tabor and Ty had a snowball fight. Tabor loved just standing there waiting for the snow to hit him.

He loved it. He could've played in the snow all day.

Titus crawled back out to play with the TTU gnome.

I love my boys. I love our new house. I love the Christmas season. I love that I am feeling better after laying in bed for a week sick sick. Thank you God for all these wonderful blessings. Thank you for providing for us everyday. Thank you for these boys that make us laugh and that give us sweet little hugs and kisses.

Hey I blogged something on the day it actually happened. Go me!

Trey & Katie's Wedding

Trey and Katie are married! The wedding was beautiful. The day was gorgeous. It rained after the ceremony so the sky was amazing. I love these pictures. (photo credit: Svetlana Photography)

We had a great weekend in Fredricksburg. We ate great food and walked through the little shops. Fredricksburg is so much fun. We spent most of the days framing baby pictures of the happy couple, putting together gift bags for guests and searching for the visitors center which happened to be located in Fredricksburg, Virginia. HA! We still managed to get the correct visitors brochures into the gift bags prior to delivery.

So sweet. Love these two.

They kept the wedding small and sweet. Here's a group pic of everyone there! We've also had fun celebrating their marriage through many showers and receptions.

Such handsome Touchstone brothers. I love these guys.

These two cuties were the dinner entertainment. Tabor loves his new cousins!

Our family cleans up well. Here we are all matching. Wish we'd gotten a pic from the rehearsal dinner. I guess it's another chance to wear that outfit! :-)

Another Touchstone brother pic.

Nona and her grandbabies. They love their Nona.

They didn't want to miss a shot apparently.

Here's what they were taking pics of. Cake was yummy! I heart cake.

Of course this is one of my favorite pictures. I love fun ways to capture the rings! Love this.

These girls are just too precious! Love that we'll be seeing them more often they're so sweet and so is their new little brother.

Here's a cute video of Tabor and Presley dancing.

I'll try to upload the wedding video soon or at least the part where Tabor steals Mema's cane and runs through the video while the wedding party walks in and gets tackled at the end by Ann. Great times. Thanks Tabor for adding some comedy to the video. ;-)

Congratulations to Trey & Katie. We love you guys and wish you a lifetime of blessings.

Here's the wedding video - don't worry if all you want is to just catch Tabor's debut and the bride walking out - it's all within the first minute or so.

Happy SUPER(hero) Halloween

I love holidays. Halloween is no different. I love to play dress up my boys! I hope they always let me play dress up with them. ;-)

Tabor was our little Captain America (which of course made his dad so super happy) We were going for a family of Avengers but Ty & I opted out at the last minute...next year though we are ALL dressing up!

Ok the look on Tabor's face is..."cheese...I'm doing this for chocolate."

Titus is in character...being The HULK. Ok and glaring at Cali the dog wondering if she was coming his way.

Oh how I love my little Superheroes. Captain America is trying to smash the Hulk's foot in this picture ha.

We had such a blast dressing up and going to the Campbell's house for Frito Pie, dessert and trick or treating! It was so much fun.

I love my little trick or treaters. Little did we realize that Titus was picking up a piece of glass and sticking it in his mouth. This little guy is sneaky sneaky.

Oh Titus the look of concern is more of fear of being caught than of having glass in your mouth.

This was the first year that Tabor actually understood what was happening. It started off with us telling him to ring the doorbell, instructing him to say "trick or treat", reminding him to take only one piece and then to say thank you for his candy. We then had to explain that we didn't get to eat the candy until the end (what a cruel trick since the parent's then go through the stash and eat all the good stuff ha). By the end of the night he was running to the door, saying trick or treat, asking for extra candy "for my brother" (who has 2 bottom teeth only), then thanking them for being awake and informing them he has to hurry and get more candy at the next house. Ty and I thought it was really funny how quickly he figured out how to work the system. Titus sat in the wagon sucking on his blankie. We should've dressed him up as Linus. All in all - a very fun halloween night!

New house bloopers

We tried to take pictures of the boys in front of the new house. We tried a few different times. In case you think our pictures are awesome and wonder if our kids always cooperate (who am I kidding - no one actually believes that!) Regardless here are all the bloopers. I love them. They make me laugh so much.

Godzilla attacks the camera

Tabor says "cheese" but forgot to face the camera

The pinwheel was not a good idea...singing the colors of the wind (whatever that means) or just screaming because he caught some wind.

It was "too bright" - that sun...hate when that happens. Tabor is a mini vampire.

Tabor and that belly. WHY did he stick it out that far? No clue.

We must have said the word belly because that's what he decided to show us.

PUT YOUR SHIRT DOWN!

Oh the pinwheel. That kid LOVES taking pictures (NOT)

Titus joins in on the photo bombing. Thanks Titus.

Poor Titus...I guess Tabor wanted a selfie.

And...we're done.

Our first house

We bought a house! After 9 moves in our 8 years of marriage it is VERY exciting to own our very own house! God is SO good!

My favorite part of our neighborhood is our pool and amenity center. We spent most of our summer days here (instead of unpacking- swimming was more fun!)

I haven't taken pictures of the inside yet but we haven't really finished decorating yet. We will get there and until then we are having a blast in our new home.

The entrance to our neighborhood is Tabor's favorite part. He loves to walk by the cowboy, horse and longhorns and every time we drive by it he says "we're almost at the new house". I wonder how long it will be called "the new house"

I'll start posting pictures of the inside soon. You can picture it though you walk in and the study is on the left, guest bath and then the kitchen and dining. On your right is the laundry room, living room and then opens into our bedroom (with master bath and closet- I love the closet). Upstairs is the gameroom, guest room and the two boys' rooms with a bathroom. See you've seen it! ;-)

God has truly blessed us and I am so grateful every single day for everything He has given us.

We have loved every place God has placed us. Starting over isn't easy but we are definitely pros by now and are enjoying discovering new favorites and spending time with our friends and family that have been awesome to come visit. We haven't found a church home yet but we have nearly tried out every church in our area and are closer to making a decision. Hopefully soon we will start getting plugged in and meeting new people.
