I had the pleasure of getting to take engagement pictures for one of Steph's best friends.

I had a blast with Traci & Jeremy and I know they will have an amazing marriage. Here's a few pictures from the fun time we had together. I'm far from professional but I hope they still love how they turned out. I had a blast taking and editing these pics.

Pediped Winner

We love Pediped shoes and when we were in Florida for my grandma's birthday the photographer snapped a great picture of Tabor that we all joked looked like a Pediped ad.

So I submitted it into the Pediped website and...Tabor was picked as the January 2012 Pediped baby!

AND the best part was that they sent him a free pair of shoes! Here's what we won:

Tabor you became famous at 7 months. We are such proud parents! We would love it if you win lots of free stuff. Let's aim for clothes, food and someday college! (ha) Not really, but we are proud of you for winning your first pair of real shoes! I can't picture you wearing them yet and much less walking in them!

Fun in the Sun

It was warm (of course) and pretty outside today. So Tabor and I went out for a little bit to play in his bumbo.

He loves being outside. He probably loves it more when there's not a camera in his face :-)

The Hat

When I found out we were having a boy the only thing I could think of was how girl clothes was so much cuter. Well... that was before I discovered hats!

Only problem is...dad doesn't show my same excitement.

I was shopping with my mom and found a super cute hat. I couldn't wait to put it on Tabor and take some pics.

Fun photos

Monica is taking some pretty amazing pictures with her new lens so she asked if Tabor wanted to be her model since John, Braidy and Quin had all had their turn. :)

We went over there early one morning, but mom couldn't get her act together so we didn't show up until it was already time for Tabor to take a nap. oops!

Monica still managed to get some cute pics. We'll be trying again soon. I can NEVER have too many pics of T-bo!

Baby G

Jonathan & Erin came into town for their Lubbock baby shower this weekend and while they were here I got to take a few Belly pics for them so I thought I'd share!

They will become parents on August 30th and they'll be great parents!!

Erin you're wayyyy too cute to be pregnant! I'm a little jealous! :-)

Baby G...what will you be?! They haven't found out if it's a girl or a boy yet so we will have to wait and see!!

Evelyn Grace

So Ty bought me a new lens and of course I already had big plans for it! I begged my friend Stacy to let me photograph her new baby girl! Marlene let me borrow props and Sarah came with me to help (thank goodness because there is no way to set up a baby and get a good shot when you are a photo-newbie!)

This is not something I will probably pursue, it's just something I enjoy doing (and it is a nice change from photographing cakeballs!) I do however want to take a course! (in my spare time)

Anyway, I thought I would share some of the pics I took. Keep in mind I am no pro and I am VERY open to suggestions! I don't even know what half the settings on my camera are for yet!!

Yes if they look familar to some of you - um... I definitely used your baby pics as inspiration. Like I said I am NO pro! Anyway, hope you enjoyed them! We all had a blast doing them! Thanks to my lighting crew (husbands), costume (diaper) changers, prop & product development (Marlene), Baby setter-upper (Sarah) and Evelyn, Stacy & Craig for being such great subjects to photograph! I HEART BABIES!!
