Good Luck Tabor

So with our new video camera we've been making Good Luck Tabor videos (For any of you Disney Channel fans out there you understand the concept) Otherwise, there's a show on Disney called Good Luck Charlie and it's about a little baby girl who's big sister records each day of her life (Charlie's life) showing her how crazy her family is and always ends the video by saying "Good Luck Charlie"

Anyway, we've been making videos for Tabor randomly and we always end them by saying "Good Luck Tabor"

Until we learn to edit them and make them more exciting you get to see the long borring unedited versions. They are pretty funny though.

The first one is of Ty doing P90X yoga months after not working out at ALL! He's now in MUCH better shape but ha! I had to catch him when he wasn't. He's going to hurt me for posting this.




I'll follow it up with a video of me painting Tabor's room in the Darth Vader mask Ty made me wear and also dressed in Ty's old ugly clothes. I don't know which blooper video is more embarrasing!!!



AND finally... the revealing of his nursery. It has already changed a lot since this video so we'll have to record another one when he arrives, but it's fun to see the difference between the painting mess video and the revealing room video. Enjoy!

Daddy in Training

Daddy-to-be-Ty has learned how to change a diaper & swaddle a newborn. Since Tabor was not yet available we improvised.

PLEASE NOTE: My grandmother was the videographer. She has NEVER in her life held a video camera - so the voice in the background is hers and if you understand Spanish it's really funny because she throws in hilarious comments about how she doesn't know how to work a video camera. Either way just knowing she recorded it is special to me and a great video to have!

All our bags are packed. We're ready to go!!!
We're officially ready for our little man to arrive! Tabor's bag has 3 outfits (in case he comes out bigger than Newborn size) and one is a shirt from Melissa & Luis that goes on under his coming home outfit. It's an Italian tradition so it's packed and ready. Along with 3 hats (again no clue what size he'll be and 1 of them is the one my grandma knitted for his newborn pics!)
Tabor come out!!! We're ready to meet you!!!!!

Eviction Notice

Your mother is issuing a notice for EVICTION. Tenant will have 2 more weeks in which you can either gather all belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, you will be physically removed from the property.


You are being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made!

Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances.

Failure to comply with the notice will result in immediate and forceful removal at mommy's discretion.

Turbo Tax Day

We are not enjoying our rainy Turbo Tax Day. Actually we've been dreading this for months but it has to get done and hopefully before the Tabe Babe arrives.

iPhone blog

I'm trying to get the iPhone mobile blogging feature to work. This is my millionth attempt! Hopefully the picture shows up since that's what I'll want to post when Tabor finally decides to grace us with his presence. :)
What you should be seeing is a picture of his new tiny gym shorts. And yes they are on the ironing board because I did iron them. I wanted everything perfect for his first time in his new clothes. I'm already a dorky mom!
