Sanders visit

We were recently blessed by a visit from the Sanders family. They came to meet Titus and Tabor & Gabriel were finally reunited. We really can't separate those two again! The first day or two was spent reintroducing them to each other. They were buddies again after that.

I stuck this picture of Ty & Tabor because I thought it was cute. Of course I had my camera on some random setting but thanks to Lightroom I was able to bring it back to life. I could probably try removing more noise from it but I liked the neat effect it gave it. I love my boys. Titus sorry buddy - you were sleeping!

Again, I had my camera on the wrong setting but look how cute these turned out! It helps that our models are pretty stinking cute themselves!

I love how they're holding hands here. :-)

Yes Tabor is covering Gabriel in leaves and Gabriel is thinking "seriously dude..."

Sarah got them cute little "future quarterback" shirts. They are so sweet! I love these little boys!

No day was complete without a guitar jam sesh. They put on a daily show for us. Tabor may have been the lead "yeller".

I love this! The boys in matching pajamas getting read a book before bedtime by Richard. So sweet!

Tabor watched Gabriel open their gifts. He isn't very good at opening presents ha. He gets distracted easily.

See...

Oh Tabor...

They jumped on the trampoline at Nona's house and then Sarah read them some books.

More story time. These boys love to read! Gabriel's smile in this picture is priceless. I love it!

Titus is worn out from all the excitement. Aunt Sarah got lots of cuddling time.

We always celebrate a birthday when they visit. This time it was Boo's birthday. The boys helped blow out the candles on the cookies.

Storytime with Aunt Sarah. Even Titus joined in. I love his little toes in this picture. Aw I love all these people! Even Baby Hope is in the picture ;-)

Gabriel makes the cutest "cheese" face. He got to hold Titus and he even posed for the camera. The Sanders fam with Titus. Thanks for coming to meet our little man. We love you guys so very very much!

Gabriel and Titus. So cute!

Our 3 boys before a girl gets added to the mix. She is going to be so loved. Look how much they already love Titus!

We had such a blast with you guys! Thanks again for coming. We can't wait to come and visit you guys next! We love and miss you all already!

Gabriel Day 4

Today was a great day! Much much better than yesterday. Gabriel woke up happy and you could tell he felt so much better. He couldn't eat breakfast or drink milk until lunch time so we continued with the Pedilyte regime. We had a pajama morning and went out for a quick walk because it was such a beautiful morning. The boys do so great outdoors. They love pointing at the birds and barking at the dogs. It's really cute to watch and hear them copy each other.

They both slept great morning naps and then we headed over to Nona's for lunch. She had Gabriel's toast & bananas cut up and ready for him along with Tabor's sweet potatoes & bananas. Nona you're awesome! The boys had a blast playing with Ginger and all of Nona's fun toys. We even went for a quick walk after lunch and then the boys took their afternoon naps. Gabriel actually slept better than Tabor because Tabor realized he could reach the window shutters and spent most of his nap opening and closing them. Our son is such a troublemaker sometimes.

Once they woke up and had dinner Nona and I went to Legacy Play Village where the boys played until they were worn out. They loved the wood chips and dug and threw them in the air. We came home and gave them super speed baths and they were zonked before their little heads reached the bed. Can't wait for another fun day tomorrow!! Thanks Nona for all your help & amazing meals today!! We love you do much!!

Gabriel Day 3

Well today was an interesting day. Gabriel came down with a stomach bug. He woke up sick and was sick all day long. Luckily his doctor in LA is amazing and walked me through what to do step by step and Gabriel did great! He was still his happy normal self and he napped better than ever. I think playing with Tabor wore him out on top of the fact that his little body was feeling so crummy. I now know exactly how to treat a stomach bug! I wish I had known this a month ago when Tabor had his! Oh well. You live. You learn.

We still managed to have a good day despite our poor sick baby and I have to say my husband deserves a gold medal for everything he did. I honestly don't know what I would've done without him. Even Monica deserves a thank you for checking on us and offering to help. You're an amazing friend Mon! Even with a sick baby at home you still offered to take on another kid! You're a great friend.

So Day 3 and we went for a quick walk while the house aired out and so we could all get some fresh air since the house smelled like Lysol & Febreeze. The boys still managed I have a blast playing with all the toys and by the end of the day I think we were all asleep by 9pm.

Gabriel day 2

Sarah left this morning and I had no idea how I was even going to get the boys out of the car by myself and so they wouldn't get rained on. My dad came to the rescue. He opened the garage for us and then each of us grabbed a baby. He was by my side all day long. Well except during diaper changes. He left that all for me :) I don't know what I would've done without my dad. He was a huge help!

The boys of course did great. They played and played and played. Actually I don't think they've ever played so much. They were exhausted by the end of the day.

Tabor ate finger foods with Gabriel all day and loved it. Although he learned that squishing and smearing can be quite fun so we had to work on that. Ty tried time out (just turning his high chair to face the wall) but Tabor seemed to enjoy it. Ha.

We had a fun day. I'm exhausted and about to rest up for tomorrow! Thanks also to Flo for making us dinner and staying to play with the boys! We had a lot of fun tonight and dinner was delicious!! Good luck to Sarah & Richard as they begin their house hunt tomorrow!!

Thanks Ty for helping put the boys to bed. It was fun watching them brush their teeth together and reading bedtime stories to these cute little guys!

Gabriel visits day 1

Sarah and Gabriel came to visit. Gabriel is staying for about a week while Sarah goes house hunting with her hubby in Virginia. I know she's thinking this will be tough on me but honestly I think it'll be tougher to leave her baby for the first time!

We had dinner at Blue Sky and the boys played together until bedtime. They were so excited to see each other again!

I lined up the boys eyeballs so Tabor's were seen through the book and Gabriel's looked like the puppy dog eyes.

Surprise trip to LA

We flew out to LA to surprise Sarah and Gabriel and get to celebrate Gabriel's first birthday! It was so much fun! We got there and were standing in Sarah & Richard's driveway when they pulled up from church. Thanks Tim, Marlene, Rose & Gladys for helping us surprise them. It was really exciting and we had the best time.

The boys had so much fun hanging out together. They followed each other everywhere. It was so sweet!

They even shared a carseat. Ok maybe only for a second. Unless I could get a ticket for blogging this...then not at all officer.

We even got to read stories all together. Gabriel sat calmly while Tabor tried to turn the pages at lightening speed. I could get used to reading to these two every night, but Gabriel's parents wouldn't let me steal him.

They even took baths together. Yes they are going to be mad at us for taking these pictures someday.

This is one of my favorite pictures! We had fun giving them stylish soap hairdoes.

Tabor and I stayed at the Pitchford Manor for half the time. It was SO much fun! We stayed up late chatting and laughing like usual. One night Tim even made one of his famous smoothies. (yes only ONE NIGHT! ha!)

Marlene, Sarah and I had a great time hanging out too! We went to Suzie Cakes and had AMAZING cupcakes and coffee while we chatted. The boys played quietly in the fun double stroller! I seriously love that thing!

Yes we dressed the boys alike a few times. We even took them to Target dressed like twins. :-) We are dorks!

Gabriel's party was super fun too! I'm so glad we got to be there. Of course the decor was cute and the cake was as amazing as you'd expect!

Check out Dr. Seuss's hat cake! Sarah you're so talented!!

Marlene and I helped make the water bottle labels. So fun! Sarah we loved your theme! It was so cute!

Ok and I told Sarah that I'd love to make Dr. Seuss pops which of course I did, but I now remember why I no longer make cakeballs for a living. They take forever and I had 2 helpers! Gabriel for you I'd make them all over again! Marlene, Sarah's mom and I were exhausted after making these but they turned out pretty cute.

Even Gabriel had a mini Dr. Seuss hat smash cake! Sarah you're such a great party planner and ok Marlene you're pretty amazing yourself! Gabriel was a little unsure what to do with his smash cake.

It didn't take him long to figure it out though...

He was so proper though. Hardly made a mess. I hope Tabor is the same way. Somehow I doubt it.

Sarah made really cute Dr. Seuss cookies as party favors also. I think I crave these every time I make a cup of tea. (hint hint)

Gabriel thanks for letting us be a part of your first birthday party. We had such a blast with you all. We miss all of our friends in the South Bay and love you all so much!!
