Before we left California Stacy and Craig had all the kiddos and their parents over for dinner and fun pics.

From left to right we have:

These kids are just too cute! Evelyn is giggling and having fun while the 3 boys are wondering what the heck is going on. Tabor seems terrified of all the flashes haha!

Finally, the group shot. Let's just say this was a tough picture to take. I think it was past bedtime for the tots and the moms were holding on as tight as possible while the dads tried to work out the electronic issues. All in all I have to say it's a great picture! We love y'all!

Veronica & Jordan's shower

Veronica and Jordan are getting married on July 30th in Panama so of course we had to throw them a shower in LA to show them how much we love them!! We wish them the best in their new lives together!

The theme of the shower was Paris Nights. It was a co-ed cocktail party! The champagne & wine bar was so much fun! Marlene you are so creative!

The food was amazing!

The tables were beautiful! The tablecloths were made by Sarah. Marlene found the fabric and Sarah did the hems on them. I ironed and pinned some of them...that was my contribution to this task!

The amazing cake was made by Sarah as well. I was the assistant. I helped make roses and wash dishes ;-)

We set up a photo station and bought props from Michaels. We had a blast taking all kinds of different pictures!

This shower was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who helped host it and Veronica & Jordan we wish you all the best in your new adventure together! We can't wait to see pics from your wedding! We hope you both loved your shower! We love you guys!

Goodbye Ya'll

So after we rescheduled a surprise party (one that we weren't aware of) a few times our friends still managed to surprise us.

The amazing cake chef managed to bake a cake in the shape and even size of Texas! Seriously this cake was HUGE!

Here's the amazing finished product. Sarah you're so talented! We especially loved the flag that showed where in Texas we are moving to.

Then the Party Planning Queen Marlene (with Tim's help of course!) planned an amazing going away party!

She researched Texas sayings and printed out signs for everyone to hold for us to remember them by. They all made Danielle/Tabor faces to show how sad they were that we were leaving. I should've wondered why Marlene started "talkin Texan" all of a sudden.

Thanks to all our amazing friends that surprised us. I really believed we were going over there for a movie night and nearly showed up in sweats & slippers! Good thing Sarah insisted that I didn't change! We have loved our time in Los Angeles and are going to miss everyone more than words can ever say. I hope I stop crying soon. I know that God has amazing things in store for us but it really is hard to leave "ya'll". You've all been such an important part of our lives and the good thing is I am certain this isn't goodbye! We can't wait to see ya'll again soon!

2 months

Tabor you're 2 months old! Time really flies! I can't believe you've already been in our lives for 2 months. I can't imagine our life without you in it!

You've changed so much already in such a short time.

You've been rolling over with my help for a few weeks now (since about 6 weeks) but on 6/8/11 at 9 weeks old you rolled over by yourself. Dad was watching you and set you on your tummy and when you rolled it scared you and you started crying. So it was probably an accident but you did it!

You weighed 12.6lbs at your 8 week checkup. It was also the first time we heard you cry because you were in pain it broke our hearts! You now have received your first set of vaccines and you are a healthy little boy! Praise God!

We took pics of you with your buddy Gabriel that day and when we set you up to play the piano your head bobbed and you hit your head on the piano. So that day we heard your "in pain" cry twice. We decided it was your first worst day ever. We're so sorry!

I am convinced that you've said your first word and it's "hi". Dad thinks you're just making noises and it happens to sound like hi. (Mommy thinks you're a genius and of course you can speak already)

You're current eating schedule is 4:30-7:30-10:30-1:30-4:30-7:30-10 (I'm writing this here so I have it stored somewhere)

You love to such on fabric and stick out your tongue to lick everything.

You can hold up your head really well, but you're still out little bobblehead. You love to head butt us. It hurts.

You no longer prefer to be on our shoulders. Now you like to be held facing out so you can see everything around you.

You still shake your fist after you eat. I love this!

You're wearing size 1 LUVS diapers but not for much longer. (We don't want to throw out the ones we have so you're wearing them until they run out!)

You hit a growth spurt at 9 weeks. You were starving one day and exhausted the next.

Your double chin and rolls are cute. (you look like your dad did as a baby)

You sleep on the right side of your head and you giggle in your sleep - a lot.

AND your cry still sounds like a cat. We call you our cat-dog because you cry like a cat and breath like a pug. :-)

Diaper Dilema

We've tried every type of diaper and Tabor still manages to blow out of them. Luckily we've bought small bags to test out the different types.

Finally, my friend Rachel suggested I try LUVS diapers. We now LOVE LUVS! They work double "doodie" ha! We have a theory that LUVS diapers are made for big-bellied babies. (which Tabor definitely is) So LUVS it is!

Underage drinking

Ty & I babysat for Richard & Sarah and we sent them a picture of how much fun the boys were having while they were gone. :-) We are so funny!

And so it begins...

The movers are here today. Even Tabor is getting packed up for the move. :) just kidding! CPS might overlook the laundry basket bed but probably not us shipping our baby cross country -ha!

Tomorrows plan...sleep!! We need a recovery day!! Our new roomates are soo wonderful too. So a fun day of R&R with them will restore us! Tabe is ready to play with Gabe! I want to help Sarah in the garden! Hopefully we can get everything done at the apt today so the rest of the time in Cali we can spend hanging out with our friends!!
